Yeah, I'd heard about that (bookstores in London weren't looted during the riots). I was wondering what kind of social commentary that was making. Are bookstores so worthless in the eyes of rioters that they're not worthy of being looted OR are they so sacred that they rank among those few places that rioters wouldn't defile them. I admit that the former was what came to my mind, though I would prefer the latter.
