PodPeep reviews self-published and small press books with a focus on the unusual—whether that means an experimental format, an offbeat voice, or a story that doesn’t fit the mainstream mold. We look at titles that are doing something different, for better or worse

The blog originally ran from 2009 to 2016 and is now being gradually revived. Reviews are honest, constructive, and aimed at readers who are curious about the edges of publishing. We don’t cover children's books or inspirational/religious nonfiction.
