How to Request a Review

To submit your book for review please send a short query email to podpeep at gmail.com.

Do not add this address to a mass mailing or newsletter list of any sort.  Emails that are not review requests and that are generated by a mass mailer (e.g. mail chimp) will be reported as spam.

The subject line should be: YOUR BOOK'S TITLE/GENRE

Indicate the format you are offering (ebook or print) and provide a short synopsis.

If one of our reviewers is interested in receiving a review copy they will contact you via email within ten days. We regret that we cannot reply individually to all queries.  If you receive no request after 14 days please take this to mean a reviewer is not available for your book.

As we received over 50 queries a week we are unfortunately unable to review most submissions.  It may help your chances if you mention specific reasons why this book may interest one of our reviewers. For example: if we have favourably reviewed one of your previous releases.

Due to our current roster of reviews we are not interested in children's fiction (excluding YA), children's  non-fiction, inspirational non-fiction or memoir at this time.

Were always interested in hearing from reviewers interested in contributing to POD People.

Thank you

We have not reviewed this book and do not intend to. The search engine probably picked up something from up blog roll in the right column.

The book is a Historical Novel dealing with the first days of Christianity. Peter and Paul is a natural sequel to my bestselling historical novel Yeshûa—Personal Memoir of the Missing Years of Jesus. The two journeys, which Peter and Paul took, illustrate the contrasting views of the essence of the scriptural teaching, each necessary for the fulfillment of its intent. The apostles were left alone, scared, persecuted, not knowing what to do. Gradually light came upon them and a long, arduous struggle began to spread the Good News. While the book tries to be historically accurate, it often reads like an adventure story, sometimes like a thriller, at times a murder tragedy, until ultimately light and love prevail.

Essentially, the paths that Peter and Paul had taken affirm choices made by “the many (that are called), and the few (that are chosen)”. This diametric division exists to this day.

I'd be very grateful for even a brief review.
With thanks,
Stan Law

Sleepwalking Toward a Precipice

Author: Jason B. Leach
Paperback
ISBN: 9781481807463
Genre: Economics
Synopsis: In “Sleepwalking Toward a Precipice” Mr. Jason B. Leach, CFA (Portfolio Manager at Cravens Brothers Wealth Advisors) uses a unique, cartoon on napkin presentation to look beyond debt and deleveraging (the primary discussion around the Great Recession, 2008 credit crisis, and ongoing global malaise) to assess the myriad influencers of economic growth, and thus market prospects going forward (i.e., growth is tied to earnings, earnings tied to markets, etc.). Part I of Sleepwalking Toward a Precipice focuses on structural issues in the United States and their potential drag on economic growth. Part II discusses structural problems in Europe and China, a variety of unknowns that could impact growth and markets, and central banks' distortionary impact on growth and markets. In Part III, Mr. Leach discusses secular bear markets, P/E compression, “accordion-shaped” returns, “renting reflation” and “essential essentials” as he lays out some of his recommendations for navigating uncertain market conditions over the next few years. It is a brief, but full compass look at global growth using entertaining visuals to both accompany and emphasize the humorous but serious nature of nations sleepwalking toward a precipice.

I noticed that you write book reviews for your blog. I wonder whether I may be so bold as to recommend for your review the new Austen-inspired book,
Follies Past: a Prequel to Pride and Prejudice by Melanie Kerr. It has been getting exceptional reviews on Amazon (amazon.com/dp/B00GD76KJY) and
you can read the first chapter, the blurb and a bit about the author on the website: FolliesPast.com. There are also three enticing, film-style trailers that can
be seen at that same website or on Youtube.
Essentially, the book is based on the story of Darcy, Wickham and Georgiana, as described in Darcy's letter to Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice. It is
intertwined with an original and sweet love story of the author's own invention and is written in the style and the language of Jane Austen's own works.
Reading it really feels like discovering a long-lost Austen manuscript.
Please feel free to email me at folliespast@gmail.com if you would like any more information, or to let me know if you decide you might like to review it so that
I can send you a copy, in your choice of eBook or paperback or both

After Richard called to tell her something about Max, the black lab and retriever mix, Jane went into the bathroom to take her makeup off. Her makeup had been paler this evening She looked at her plain face in the mirror after she had swabbed off the foundation, powder, and blush in “primrose.” Jane wondered if at her age she could still be considered attractive, there was a time when Jane was hot, but Jane felt those days had long since passed. I can still be exciting though, Jane thought to herself.
She hoped she hadn’t looked old. She was thirty-nine, and sometimes felt ninety-nine. One more year of feeling like an old milk bottle washed up on the rivers of time. She calculated how old she was in dog years, because she calculated things like that—she was a human calculator by profession and a creative one at that.
She had been neither exciting nor boring that night, makeup-wise, or actions-wise, she thought as she reviewed the evening at Luxe. The young bartender had been so beautiful. What was his name, she wondered. Was he from here, or somewhere scintillating and exotic? Would he like her country house in Connecticut? Or would he prefer a trip to Paris?
I am two-hundred-eighty-five in dog years, Jane thought as she looked at herself looking back expressionlessly in the mirror. And I have just left my husband of ten years because he listened to too much talk radio.
She took off her shirt.
I still have great boobs, though. It runs in the family.
As she thought about her other physical assets, her straight naturally light blonde hair, her tight ass, years of yoga had paid off, and her phenomenal boobs, no surgery necessary. She began to get excited about the thought of going back to Luxe to talk with the amazingly attractive bartender. Maybe talk would turn into more, maybe it wouldn’t, but she suddenly felt she couldn’t let the bartender get away.
As she moved over to the couch she began to caress her breast,s for a woman close to 40 they were still perky, she had never had any work on them, but her close friends still questioned her every six months. She thought about the bartender as she continued to massage her breast, slowly making her way to her hard nipples. Does he like breast? Jane thought to herself, would he lick them and lightly nibble on my nipples? Richard had never been one who paid much attention to Jane’s womanly features. I want someone who will pay attention to me, someone who will touch me like I touch myself.
As these thoughts played through Jane’s mind she slowly started to touch herself, in a way she hadn’t for years. Laying down on the couch Jane slowly removed her dress, she had already folded the top over so she could play with her breast, but now as she slid her slim hips through the silky fabric she felt a slight pulse from inside her expensive lacy thong. Can I do this? Jane wondered. Her hands moved across her torso and to the top of her thong and Jane slowly wiggled out of it as she lay back on the couch. Thinking about the bartender and how he would touch her had made her wet, she hadn’t been this aroused in awhile, Richard had never made her feel like this and she enjoyed exploring herself.
Just as she was finding a rhythm her cell phone rang. Her phone was in her purse.
