About half of the queries we receive have the subject line: "Review Request".
Yes, from the authors point of view they are sending a review request.
But from the reviewer's point of view they are being offered a book.
Organizationally, it would really help if folks put the book title in the subject line.

For point of reference, we require authors to put "Submission: Book Title" in the subject line. We have an auto reply that targets the word "submission" so that authors know we've received their request for a review. It also helps us to know if people actually went to our "Submission Guidelines" page and read it rather than blindly sending us stuff we don't want. Quite a number of people still don't.
Indeed. We have an email address used only for these queries and everything sent there gets the auto-reply. But when it comes to later handling a book title in the subject line really helps.
