If you need any help, let me know. I sell way more ebooks than I do print books, and my print books are not available outside the US at this time, so the ebook helps me reach markets outside of the print distribution. I love Kobo books and buy from them a lot.
If you get your work up on Scribd and in Smashwords, you pretty much have all bases covered.
Smashwords has been a godsend to me. The number of ebooks I sell in relation to print make print almost an afterthought that I do mainly for my own enjoyment. Even a year ago, I never would have imagined being able to sell so many ebooks.
It's clear to me now, the Revolution will be downloaded.
I like having a print copy available, and do sell some from time to time. I also like to have a print copy for reviwers or for autographed giveaways and things like that, but in reality, print isn't 100% necessary for the self-published author.
I too like designing them, so I will always put out a print version, but that's just me.
