Okay, after flouncing from one forum and being banned from another I have gone ahead and started a self-publishing forum. I am seeking co-administrators and moderators.
Unfortunately I decided to start a freeforum just as that service maxed out their server capacity. They are meant to fix that but as we have only 10 members right now I will post a poll about moving.
I am such a trouble-maker. no, wait, actually I'm not : /
I don't think I have seen a good, reasonably unbiassed write up of what is going on at Lulu, but I could look at pulling one together now that i am feeling calm about the whole thing.
Even now Lulu doesn't totally suck, they are just heading IMHO in the wrong direction for self-publishing authors.

I am going to be on a self-publishing panel at a convention in early June. Do you have a link to a "what's wrong with Lulu" write-up I could borrow?
